Building
resilience
before
crisis hits.
The time to teach a young man how to handle pressure is not after he's crumbled under it.
HEvolve Boys Project is HEvolve Foundation's youth prevention program — a structured mentorship and resilience initiative delivered in secondary schools and communities across Lagos.
Designed for young men between the ages of 15 and 24, the program equips them with emotional tools, healthy masculinity frameworks, and mentorship relationships that will shape how they face life.
Five tools.
One foundation.
Emotional
Regulation
Developing the vocabulary and tools to identify, name, process, and express emotions healthily — without resorting to suppression or destructive outbursts.
Healthy Masculinity
Redefining what strength actually looks like.
Stress Management
Tools to handle academic, family, and social pressure.
Help-Seeking
Normalizing the act of asking for support as a sign of strength, not weakness.
Mentorship
Building structured, reliable connections with male role models who actively listen.
Where the boys are.
HEvolve Boys Project is delivered through school partnerships, community organizations, and youth programs.
Sessions are designed to be engaging, culturally relevant, and age-appropriate — delivered by trained facilitators who understand the Nigerian youth context.
Every student who completes HEvolve Boys Project leaves with a personal resilience toolkit and a connection to the broader HEvolve Foundation community.
Before the program, I felt like I had to figure everything out on my own. Now I have brothers who actually listen without judging.— Cohort Graduate
