The Problem

79% of Nigeria's
suicides are men.

Fathers. Brothers. Husbands. Sons. They are dying in silence — not because help doesn't exist, but because the systems built to reach them do not.

Masculinity norms tell men that asking for help is weakness. Economic pressure compounds that silence. The result is a crisis hiding in plain sight.

African men die by suicide at a rate of 18 per 100,000 — nearly 50% higher than the global average. Nigerian men are 3x less likely than women to access mental health services.

We're here to change that. Not with just a hotline. With a system.

What Men Are Saying
"
At 2 a.m., HEvolve Companion was the only place I could speak without shame. That moment kept me alive, kept my career intact, and helped me find the strength to ask for help.

Real Face

The Real Face of
Men's Health.

Statistics tell us 79% of Nigeria's suicides are men. But statistics don't have faces. These do. Real Nigerian men putting their names and faces to a conversation the rest of the country has refused to have out loud.
